Are You Committed to Breakthrough to a Healthier, Slimmer You?

How committed are you to overcoming any personal, existing challenges so that you can breakthrough to a healthier, slimmer you? Let’s discuss four different areas and your commitment in each area.

State of Mind

What is you mind set concerning your current capability to become healthy? One of the key ingredients in change is the belief that you can change. Sure, it is beneficial that friends and family who you revere and who revere you believe in your abilities to reach your goals. But at the end of the day, and, more importantly, at the break of dawn, it is critical that you believe 100% that you can breakthrough and become the person you want to become. Believe it, and you will achieve it.

Nutrition

There are many things to discuss when it comes to nutrition. I just spoke to a guy last night who replaced smoking and drinking with grapefruit. In the last two months he has lost almost 30 pounds. The grapefruit, he says, is filling him up too, so he doesn’t want to eat as much. Everyone knows what is bad and what is good. Life coaches like Tanya Langis can assist further in this area. The key is to do what your heart and soul is telling you to do and to not do what your mind and body, through a string of debilitating, bad habits, is telling you to do. Are you committed enough to yourself to stop drinking soda pop, for example?

Physical Health/Fitness

How committed are we to achieve the ultimate level of health at any age? At the age of 46, I ran my first marathon last year. But just because I finished it, doesn’t mean I’m finished running? No! I have a goal to beat my time this year by 40 minutes. And I will accomplish my goal. One good suggestion, besides getting a fitness coach from someone like proactivewellness.com, is to tell friends and family about your goals. They will ask you how you are doing and you will then be accountable to them and to yourself.

Lifestyle

Are you willing to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier in order to breakthrough to a healthier, slimmer you? Are you committed to decrease your alcohol and/or tobacco intake and consistently increase your level of exercise? Becoming the person we want to become means not always doing things that those around us want to do. When we set the example of improvement, others will follow. When we follow the crowd, no one advances – no one progresses.

Are there are roadblocks in our way? Probably. Are there are challenges that we must overcome? More than likely. There are decisions that, for our own well-being need to be made and then kept. The only way we will find out if we are strong enough to overcome our weaknesses is to commit to change, then stick to our commitments.
