Build Your Customers’ Confidence

If you are a business owner, you should be confident with the reviews and feedback you are receiving from your customers.

Many small businesses debate the pros and cons of customer reviews, whether they provide an increased conversion rate, turn away prospective customers or bring new awareness and increased traffic to a business. You want what is best for your business, so you might be thinking that customer review software might be a waste. The truth is that several tests have proven that quality business review software can benefit legitimate, hard-working, customer-service oriented business significantly.

But as an online business, how confident are you in your business’ ability to receive positive customer reviews and testimonials? Are you confident enough to broadcast them live on a billboard in Times Square? If not, you should be!

Domino’s Pizza did just that recently. The pizza company is in the midst of a campaign of listening to customers and acting on the feedback by changing the very core of its business including the ingredients and taste of the pizza. It decided to take customer feedback to new heights, literally, by streaming customer reviews live as they came in on a billboard in Times Square. Now that is what all businesses should be doing with the feedback they receive from their customers. Your customers are the soul of your business and without their loyalty your company will almost instantly die.

Chances are, small-business owner, you probably don’t have the money or the inclination to run customer survey software in one of the most expensive locations in the country like Times Square. However, as an online business owner, you need to decide how confident you are in your customers by reading their reviews and acting upon their words and critiques.
In addition to third-party reviews, customer testimonials can be placed directly on the business’s website, adding additional content and fresh information to those prospective customers who are in the search process and trying to make a decision on where to spend their money.

Customer feedback has turned into a public forum. It’s online, instantaneous and visible to all. When small businesses opt for transparency, the positive outweighs any perceived negatives and customers come to appreciate and seek out honest communication. That, along with a quality product, is what creates a successful business.

Add a Little ‘Salsa Verde’ to your Business!

Taco bell is famous for their signature sauces with awesome quotes written all over each package. These amazing quotes written on the sauces give the idea that they are talking to you which is quirky, unique and fun! It gives readers something to smile about.

Some of these sauce packets say quotes like: “Where have you been all my life?” “I’m bringing saucy back,” “Did the paparazzi see us together?” “Meet me tomorrow: same time, same place,” “Help I’m a genie trapped in a sauce packet!” Seriously these silly, extremely random quotes make my day every time I read them.

It’s cool to see how this business in particular is trying to build a positive reputation by providing their customers with an opportunity to smile. If you can get enough people to smile, consistently, you will have a successful business. I’ve talked with lots of people who also enjoy the short phrases on the packets of hot sauce.

The last time I went to Taco Bell I asked for some Verde sauce for my family’s order of burritos and the gal working said of course, and then handed me about 15 packets of sauces. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. It’s awkward to admit, but I was excited to read all of the different witty sayings on all of the packets, much like I am to read the morning comics.

Building customer rapport and having superb customer service is the only way to build a successful, lasting company. You want your customers to be loyal to you and your business and to spread their love for your company around to all of their friends. It is up to your business’ online reputation management to uphold these positive, every growing standards and to make your business all that is can be.

Shopper Approved has one of the best online reputations for effectively providing customers with online shopping surveys. It is a company whose management and all employees care about the company and the needs of the customers. All businesses should want current customers to inspire potential customers to buy through their rating and testimonials of the company.  Like Taco Bells sauces, online businesses can share a loyal client’s testimony through Shopper Approved, requesting that potential clients “Meet me tomorrow: same time, same place.”

Be Grateful You Can Go To The Dentist

If you are like me, then I know you hate going to the dentist. It’s uncomfortable, nerve raking, and seldom boosts your self esteem. Going to the dentist is kind of like being forced to eat vegetables when we were little kids. We hated vegetables, simply because of the fact that they were vegetables.

Going to the dentist is just like eating those vegetables, only slightly more painful. You can always cover vegetables with cheese or ketchup, but the pain in your mouth with dentistry effects your wallet much more than buying a few vegetables. Here in America we have ample access to professional health and dental care. Opportunities are boundless, and most dentists take Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurances to either help or completely pay for our dental care. In Africa and Ghana however, they are not so lucky.

There are simply not enough dentists to meet the needs of the Ghana’s population, especially in the rural areas. Research has shown that about 70% of dentists in Ghana are based in Accra and Kumasi, where the only two dental schools in the country are located. Only the wealthiest people of Ghana can afford to travel that far just to get their yearly check up.
I think we take for granted something that we tend to dread. Imagine our life without access to dental  care. Everyone’s teeth would be disgusting.  They’d be yellow and crooked and half of them would be gone.  Without dental care, our breath would stink horribly and no amount of mouthwash could fix it. People would never go out of their homes, the divorce rate would skyrocket and online dating would be more popular than ever!

Most of us live within an hour, if not minutes from a dentist office. If we don’t know where the closest dentists are to us, all we have to do is spend a few minutes online to find the names and addresses of the top dentists in our area with testimonials from previous clients.

Let’s be grateful for the opportunity to have our teeth straight, clean, white and disease free.

Website Verification: Building Your Reputation with Trust Seals

Why are you not making more sales online?

Is it because you have a bad reputation or no reputation at all? How can you get more online consumers to trust you enough to buy from you? Do you have trust seals displayed prominently on your website? If not, we are going to teach you how to change that, so you can start making more money online.

Did you know that your online reputation is one of the most important things to uphold in your business? The tricky part is figuring out how to create a strong, positive reputation.

One way to achieve your sales goals is by maintaining great customer service (before, during, and after the sale) through satisfaction surveys and support systems. You also need to make sure that your customers feel safe and secure around you.

You want your customers to trust you and know that you are a company that is looking out for the customer. If your customers feel safe and taken care of when they are in the service of your company, then they are more likely to make purchases with you.

I recently took an online survey for a company that I make purchases with. They asked me if I would rather work with a company that displayed trust seals on their website more than one without them. This company, of course had business verification seals, security seals, and privacy seals on their website to ensure that they would keep my information private, protect it, and that they were a legitimate business. I responded succinctly that “I don’t trust sites without trust seals.” If a business cannot and will not take the little time and money that it takes to have a secure trust seal on their website, then how can I trust that they are going to take the time to keep my information safe and secure? Chances are they are not.

I checked, and sure enough, the company that I use that sent out the poll had business verification seals, security seals, and privacy seals on their website to verify that they would keep my information private, protect it, and that they were a legitimate business.

You know how important website verification is, and how crucial it is to have displayed ‘front-and-center’ if you want to build a positive reputation of trust with your customers. Reputation is everything, and having a trust seals on your website is the best way to improve online success.

Trust Seals 101 Everything You Should Know About Trust Seals

If you are on the path to creating an extraordinary online business or website, then you have probably looked into putting trust seals on your site. If you haven’t, or don’t even know what trust seals are, then you have a lot to learn about being successful online.

A trust seal or business verification seal is a small protective image that you display on the top portion (or ‘above the fold’ in computer geek language) of your website. The image stands for safety and security and is a symbol that you are a company that people can trust and that you have been verified and certified as a legitimate company by a third party. Trust seals are crucial to create a sense of trust between you and your clients and customers.

Similar to trust seals are privacy seals. Privacy seals verify to your customers that all of their information will be kept private, safe, and secure. Think about when you go onto a website; if it does not look safe are you going to make a purchase with them? I know that I would never do that, because I do not want to risk having my information compromised. I want my information to remain private, so that I can avoid identity theft as much as possible.

Another type of trust seals are security seals. Security seals tell your customers that all of their credit card information is processed by a secure company and will be kept confidential and only used for the current purchase, afterwards it will be disposed of securely or safe-guarded. These three key elements are essential to protecting your sites, and your customers’ information.

If you protect your website with business verification seals, privacy seals, and security seals, your online sales will drastically increase because your customers will feel safe with you. There are many companies that provide individual seals to website owners, but only one company that provides all three of them in a package. Trust is everything in a successful company, and the most important thing to know when it comes to online sales is that when people trust you, they will buy from you.
