Build Your Customers’ Confidence

If you are a business owner, you should be confident with the reviews and feedback you are receiving from your customers.

Many small businesses debate the pros and cons of customer reviews, whether they provide an increased conversion rate, turn away prospective customers or bring new awareness and increased traffic to a business. You want what is best for your business, so you might be thinking that customer review software might be a waste. The truth is that several tests have proven that quality business review software can benefit legitimate, hard-working, customer-service oriented business significantly.

But as an online business, how confident are you in your business’ ability to receive positive customer reviews and testimonials? Are you confident enough to broadcast them live on a billboard in Times Square? If not, you should be!

Domino’s Pizza did just that recently. The pizza company is in the midst of a campaign of listening to customers and acting on the feedback by changing the very core of its business including the ingredients and taste of the pizza. It decided to take customer feedback to new heights, literally, by streaming customer reviews live as they came in on a billboard in Times Square. Now that is what all businesses should be doing with the feedback they receive from their customers. Your customers are the soul of your business and without their loyalty your company will almost instantly die.

Chances are, small-business owner, you probably don’t have the money or the inclination to run customer survey software in one of the most expensive locations in the country like Times Square. However, as an online business owner, you need to decide how confident you are in your customers by reading their reviews and acting upon their words and critiques.
In addition to third-party reviews, customer testimonials can be placed directly on the business’s website, adding additional content and fresh information to those prospective customers who are in the search process and trying to make a decision on where to spend their money.

Customer feedback has turned into a public forum. It’s online, instantaneous and visible to all. When small businesses opt for transparency, the positive outweighs any perceived negatives and customers come to appreciate and seek out honest communication. That, along with a quality product, is what creates a successful business.
